At Mertens House all nursing care required by any resident is included in our daily rate. The daily rate of Mertens House includes meals, twenty – four hour nursing coverage, laundry services, bedding and towels.
Medications prescribed by the attending physician are billed independently through our contracted pharmacy, HEALTHDIRECT, which is a division of Kinney Drugs, Inc. in Williston, Vermont. Outside services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, podiatry, psychiatrist, dental, optician, optometrist, ophthalmologist, X-ray and laboratory would be billed independently through that particular provider.
